Oh MAN. I don’t know how she does it but every one of Kat’s books catches me by surprise EVERY SINGLE TIME. She has a talent for lulling you into a false sense of security and then pulling the rug out from underneath your feet and I can’t even be mad because she does it so well that I enjoy every single second of it lmao.

This is the third book in the series and it’s one of the best series that Kat’s written so far in my opinion. If you love ACOTAR, the darker side of fae, or books where the villain unapologetically gets the girl then this is the series for you.
I seriously cannot wait to see how it finishes and I have SUCH a bad book hangover that it’s unreal.

Oh and also it’s S P I C Y with a capital ‘s’ and, yes, Valroy and Abigail do IT, and it’s everything that you could ever wish for hehehe.

I finally got fed up with the main female lead. I would have loved to see a different side of her, and honestly think she's a but too self righteous for me. I enjoyed the first two books but don't see this ending well, even if I were to finish the 4th book.

This was my favorite of the series so far! Starting to get some answers to the questions that have been building, a good amount of happy moments together and stressful ones apart for the MCs, and finally the spice I was waiting for! Overall a really good book

I'm enjoying these books, but definitely less than the first book. I seriously hate reading books and having to wonder if the author maybe secretly racist. Through 3 books, so many characters of all shapes sizes and appearances and they are literally all white. Not a brown person I sight. There's literally a red person, and a glass person but no brown people at all. And Valroys whole inner monologs about the seelie at their wedding was YIKES. It's giving slave master that only likes his one slave but still believes in slavery 🙃 the story itself is getting quite redundant and I'm getting burned out on Abigails constant inner battle. It's sounding very "after-ish" now.

Well... I guess that foreword should have warned me but I was NOT prepared for such graphic sex scenes...
