This book was so incredibly disappointing. It felt like everything I had enjoyed crumbled so quickly. There was not enough build up to how in love Valroy suddenly was. His personality was too different. He was still cruel, but it all felt off. I thought because there would be four books that the progression would be natural. They finally got together in this one, but I stopped caring.
The side characters were a bit of bright spot, I did continue to enjoy them. Don’t know if I want to read the last, because at this point I don’t think the series can be saved. Also I didn’t realize a possessive villain was something that was that important to me, but I guess it is because that was missing and I keenly felt it. Valroy willing to share her was not my thing at all.
