Literally just read about men trying to make it to shore for an hour. That was literally the whole plotline.

This was an excellent short story. It had tense conflict and also some lighthearted funny moments. I learned this was written from personal experience of the author and that made the story more special.  Also, some of the old language phrases are excellent.

This just validates my fear of the ocean and going on boats.

Well written, if a little repetitive which I think was part of the point of the story.
