The Monster has been my most anticipated read after reading The Hunter. After waiting for almost a year, I can totally say that it's totally worth the wait. Like seriously, SamAisling has officially stolen my heart and I absolutely loved them in The Monster.

First of all, let me start by saying that the storyline for this book was a little bit unexpected for me. Not gonna lie, I thought SamAisling would be serving other tropes, but it's actually slightly different than the theories that I made about them. However, that didn't make this book any less interesting. I wouldn't be saying much about the plot to avoid spoilers, but I can ensure you that the entire storyline would get you hooked from the beginning till the end.

Now, talking about the characters, I completely adore Sam & Aisling so much. They are everything. The chemistry & sexual tensions that these two have are just

Not my favorite of this series or book that I’ve read this year. Generally speaking, romances that revolve around the mob or motorcycle clubs are not my jam. That being said, I won’t discount a book for that reason alone. The only reason I read this one is because I enjoyed the two previous books in the Boston Belles series. After The Monster, I’m not sure I’ll read the fourth and final BB book, The Rake

I’m not a fan of the misogyny and the “I take what I want” attitude that the MMC typically has in these books. The Monster was no exception. I didn’t find anything appealing in Sam, nor did I get the long-term appeal he had for Aisling. A seventeen year-old falling for the bad boy, sure, but harboring a decade long love of a guy you watched put a bullet in someone’s head? It’s a big fat NOPE from me especially since you’re supposed to be smart.

The best part of The Monster is the cover. The dude is seriously HOT!
