I wish I could give it less than 1 star. I haven't even read the whole thing but I can confidently say that nothing could've saved this book unless Shen decided to un-write this piece of shit.

Savor it..

Aisling and Sam are THE couple. This book is the BOMB. It has everything. Suspense, sex, lust, blood, and love. I love almost all of LJ's books so it's not a surprise I loved this one.. but you truly felt the connection of the characters here. The writing is immaculate. The story is great and the ending is awesome. Read it. You won't be sorry.

Sam & Ash have been orbiting each other for 10 years. After a chance encounter both of their paths were forever changed. Everyone knew Ash was ‘secretly’ pining for Sam…but what about Sam?? His Ascent to power has taken many turns but was Aisling on his radar??

The Monster answer that question and so much more. Y’all Ash is kinda of a bada$$

Read this ages ago and it was a shit show. No I would not like to elaborate

When even your ✨plagiarized✨ shit is boring AF,basically a horribly copied version of your older works and puts readers to sleep....
I don’t even need to bother pointing out how trashy this is because you can see that by just looking at the top reviews here.
Although I wonder when all our one star reviews will ✨magically✨ disappear? Cause we all know Ms. Shen and her minions won’t accept anything other than full five stars.

“Lust lingers, love stays.
Lust is impatient, love waits.
Lust burns, love warms.
Lust destroys, but love? Love kills.”

Dark, decadent and violent, with pacing similar to Blood to Dust. Sam and Aisling’s story was packed with action and spice with a push-pull cat and mouse chase to die for. Just when I thought I figured everything out, along came another twist and turn to really throw my emotions into a frenzy. Aisling was a deliciously dark surprise, while Sam was every bit of the unhinged mob boss that I anticipated [and then some given the backstory we get]. Their story brings to light some very morally grey issues that I think LJ handles well. 10/10 would recommend and I already cannot wait to devour their story again!
