(2.5/5 stars). I didn't hate this book but it didn't seem like it really went anywhere. I felt like I could have skipped the vast majority of the book and it would be relatively the same. Granted maybe the author was setting stuff up for the next book but nonetheless I was much more impressed with the first book in the series. Overall the series is still somewhat interesting and I would recommend if you like somewhat dystopian YA.

Quite good. New characters and plot line neatly woven in. Looking forward to the final book.

I LOVED the first book in this series, and part of me still feels like that book should stay self-contained, since it was such a complete story on its own. But I can't disagree that UnWholly is similarly compelling and there was certainly more for these characters to tackle. Knowing a third book is coming it feels less complete, but I'm excited to see how everything wraps up.

WHAT THE HELL!!!! Shusterman leaves you hanging just after baiting you with a crucial tid-bit of information. BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so wonderfully frustrating I cannot wait until the third comes out.

As with the first one, this book was disturbing and horrifying in so many ways. This dystopian world is so well crafted, perhaps with even more tightening parallels to aspects of reality now than when it was first written. I am intrigued and nervous of what will befall the characters in book 3.

Once again I do recommend this series but with strong warning to ensure the topics won’t be too triggering.

Hi. I cried 4 times so were going with 4 stars.*dabs*

I, for some reason, didn't like the way the story was told this time around.

My thoughts about why this might have been:
