3.5. I liked it, it was fun and the main character was sweet. Could’ve done without “interlude” chapters that stopped halfway through the book. Should’ve just committed to dual point of view

This was a fairytale that was repetitive and never was fleshed out. The writing was beautiful and very much had that dreamy fairytale feel I love. This issue I had is nothing happens. It was the same scene over and over again. The romance between Red and Wolf was to off page for me to feel anything for them. I did enjoy the the glimpse we got at what Red's sister was up to.

Got about halfway through and for the life of me I cannot tell you what the plot of this book is, what the characters are like, or anything about the magic system. A real shame because the premise is so interesting and the writing is good.
