"We all make mistakes. The good people try to fix them. Sometimes you can't fix them, and you have to live with what happens. Then you just pray to all the gods you know that you don't have to live with it alone."

Greymist Fair is an atmospheric book full of stories inspired by Grimm's lesser-known fairytales! I loved the concept of the book as it revolves around the town of Greymist Fair which is located deep in the woods and often not found by ordinary travellers. I enjoyed some stories more than others but liked that Death was an independent character connected to the town and in conflict with the villagers, as everyone fears death. He was one of the most compelling aspects of the story! I also liked Heike, a young tailor with a gift for magic and a mother who did everything to protect the town! It was great that each story focused on another character connected to Greymist Fair. Throughout the book, you begin to see the connections between all the characters and I loved that!
