Ooh, I am so excited for this series! The mix of mythology and modern times is interesting and I can't wait to see what happens in High Jinx.

Start of a new series by Kelley Armstrong. Good start...I especially enjoyed the interweaving (of a sort) of ancient Greek and Roman mythology. Light entertainment...I'm looking forward to the next one.

Fun twist, but not the can’t-put-down I’m used to from Kelley Armstrong.

This book was a pleasant surprise. Interesting story and characters with a plot that was a bit of a slow burn, but not in a way that was frustrating.
The twists weren’t predictable and the relationships were refreshing. Looking forward to see if a romance unfolds in the sequels, because there was no consummation of the spark between the two main characters, just friendship and respect-imagine that!

I was really enjoying it until we hit about 60%. I wished it hadn’t gone the way it did, but overall, enjoyable!

I have been a huge fan of Kelley Armstrong since discovering Dimestore Magic many years ago. Each series she has is unique and this definitely is. The world is set to what we know, but with magic and supernatural beings existing alongside the rest of us.
I liked the magic, since for every action there is a reaction or repercussion. It's not just flitting around with sparkling wands or twitch of the fingers to help. There is a cause and effect here.
Kennedy and her two sisters are curse weavers...or unweavers as the case may be. She meets up with a luck worker and all kinds of fireworks ensue.
Characters are introduced, there are kidnappings, thefts, cursed necklaces, immortals....this is a fun ride.
I can definitely recommend this book and likely the series and I absolutely recommend this author. She's a favorite of mine.
