I REALLY liked this one. I love the White Rabbit and the Cheshire Cat as characters. I feel in love with the Mad Hatter.
Got anxiety mid way through and put it down for a month which honestly is a testament to the writing, that I cared enough about these characters to be scared for their wellbeing enough to walk about for a bit so that nothing happens to them for a bit. It’s way more gory than the first book!!

OK, I might have liked this one better than the first book in the series!!!!
These retellings are so much fun!! I loved that the caterpillar and the mad hatter were women. Loved the cameo by the walrus! And this take in the Cheshire cat...so fun!
I can't tell if they're really retellings or more inspired by but honestly I don't care. Another fantastic book! Spice was fantastic which doesn't surprise me at all.
And while the first book was almost smut that accidentally turned into a great story this one seemed more like a great story with spicy smut. Is that redundant? Lol
