Okay so if you haven't read A Court of Sugar and Spice, do yourself a favor and go read that, then meet me back here...
Now that that's done, you must read this. I'm slightly biased because I do love all things Wonderland related, but the blending of the wonderland elements and characters into this fae world was just *chef's kiss*, 10/10, no notes, perfection.
Clara and Fin were as spicy as ever, and I loved seeing their relationship grow and solidify throughout this book! I also need more of the new additions of Alice, the rabbit and the cat... There's some very interesting spicy stuff going on there that I liked, but I will say check your trigger warnings on this one!
On the subject of trigger warnings, there's an especially difficult chapter that had an extra trigger warning at the beginning which I thought was incredibly thoughtful of the author, and a practice I'd love to see more normalized!
The end of this one left me dying for more of all these characters - especially Louisa and Lir because they were completely MIA in this one, and I need to know what they were up to... There are some hints at the next book slipped in though, and it was fun picking up on them!
Overall if you love dark romantasy and retellings that aren't quite retellings but still have all the good bits, read this series!

This series is very addictive, although the world is complex and entirely delectable you are not overpowered by extreme world building or overly complex character growth.
Fin remains perfectly imperfect and the way he bares his heart and soul in this made me adore him even more (which I didn’t think was possible!)
I loved the Alice in Wonderland theme alongside the Unseelie Court, such a clever way to intertwine well known character stories with Rebecca’s new and exciting world.
