I am always so excited when I get the next, newest episode of the Virtual Arcana series. I drop whatever I am reading and dive right in. I know it's not going to take very long to read. And it has been a little while since the last episode. I miss being in that world and can't wait to get back to it.
The Empress episode is pretty intense this time with Kelsey sneaking out late at night and breaking laws. Will this put her family in more hot water than they are already in? We also see the relationship between Kelsey and Xander grow deeper. But that relationship is another thing that could mean serious trouble for Kelsey and her family.
This episode seemed to be a turning point for me. I felt confused through the first few epsiodes but I think now that it was a reflection of the confusion that Kelsey was feeling as she was trying to figure out all that was being thrown at her. She is coming around to understanding and figuring out what she is supposed to do and how things work. I am able to relax a little bit and enjoy the story that Karen is putting out there. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here.

AMAZING, just like the others, except even better.
I'm constantly surprised that I love each installment more than the last. The only thing I hated about this book was that it ends....in a spot where it shouldn't, because I need more. I'm hopelessly addicted to this series and read each one as soon as I get my hands on it.
This installment is more about Kelsey and Xander. Their relationship takes on a new depth, and it's just right.
