A Christie I have never read before! Really likes the heroine and the journalist and I had the murderer pegged wrong.
I will love Agatha Christie forever, but this one was a bit all over the place (and has a VERY similar ending to "The Mousetrap" if you ask me). I've loved some of her standalone novels; this one had me missing Poirot something fierce.

This is a pretty clever mystery with a fun and perky heroine. I figured it out pretty soon; don't know if that's because I remember it at some level, or because I picked up on what seemed to me to be fairly obvious clues.
It was a quick read, keeping someone on toes but it hurts to know its too simple and meh at the end.
