And here I thought LAST volume had me as sucked in as could be! I couldn't put this one down till it was finished!

Definitely a change in pace and setting from the previous books, but it was still very compelling and with amazing artwork as well.

I feel like this story is kinda jumping a shark. I like it better when it’s in the school setting. It feels more believable there(for a story about talking animals). Also, I think Louis’s characterization doesn’t really work. I mean, I could see him slowly turning crazy, but I think his personality had a ridiculous jump. I’m certainly still gonna read this series, but I’m not so sure how I feel about where this is going.
