From my eaves dropping on the book shop floor, it's seems a lot of manga readers can feel squeamish about the nature of this series. This volume isn't likely to change their opinion of that.

Lots of high tension as grey wolf Legoshi embarks on rescuing dwarf rabbit Haru from the meat eating, criminal syndicate of lions.
I would admit that I'd be just as happy if this was another volume of their ongoing high school dramas, but author Paru Itagaki is telling a unique tale, and in the process brilliantly exploring in depth the fragile psyche's of these characters in a world separated into predators and prey.

But definitely not for the squeamish.

With the festival nearly here, things go awry that may put some of the students in danger. This volume brings into the story a darker side of the town. I'm starting to get nervous about where this is heading.

ARGHHHH

not the cliffhanger and me not having ANY of the other volumes…

but anyways, it was fun to reread this part of the story, because I truly don’t remember much of the shishi gumi abduction so very much a fun experience
