I wanted to love this book. I love mysteries and romance. The description of this book promised both. First, it isn't a traditional mystery. In general, mysteries follow a particular format and rules. This book doesn't. There is no resolution to the murders. I'm hoping they are wrapped up in the next installment of the series.

The main characters are likeable, but they don't seem to actually get to know each other. Their interactions and dialogue primarily revolve around the investigation or their physical relationship. It's not bad, but it was not particularly engaging in my opinion.
