Unfortunately I have to confess that the book disappointed me a bit… Was it really bad? No, otherwise it would have had fewer stars. For example, I really liked the interaction between Savannah and Grayson. You saw that there was history and I really liked the flashbacks to their youth.
But I really didn't find the reason why he was so angry with her so great. The girl was 10, so should you really blame a 10-year-old? I personally do not think so, I can imagine that he thinks like this when his father tells him that it is her fault. The moment he is also so young himself. But now he is 18 and even his mother says come on she was 10. But he continues to insist that she did this on purpose. I just couldn't agree with that. That just really irritated me a bit. I understood that the author did not immediately want to reveal the whole story, but in this case it had saved me a lot because now I was anxiously waiting to be disappointed. The fact that Savannah really had no idea why he was so angry with her actually says enough in this case.
I've read a book before where a girl from the age of 6 or something along those lines was pointed out as someone who had ruined someone else's life and I just can't see this it at all.
I also found the characters around them a lot more interesting and I am curious about the next part in this series. In itself, the book was certainly entertaining and I also enjoyed the interactions between everyone. It reads smoothly and that also kept me reading further.
A book that unfortunately disappointed me a bit, I just expected a bit more. I am curious about the second part because I liked the writing style and I am curious about the story of these characters.

What a great book! Looking forward to Knox's story.
