I appreciated the fine writing, but found the plot, shortly after the transition to Jane's adult life, dreadfully tedious. When I found I still had 8 hours and change left, I decided I needed to switch to another book, because I hadn't enjoyed this one for several chapters in a row, and wasn't motivated to listen.
I had a craze for classics back in middle school and had started reading this...I don't know what was wrong with me but I had stopped reading this book for a looonnnggg while. thank the gods for fixing my brain and finishing this novel. I am so happy I finally did, it was worth it

very cool, lots of description which i don't personally love. the writing style was just the hardest part for me to get into
Love the story and the movie, but the book was tiresome.
Very ahead of it’s time and I enjoyed how it wasn’t just a love story but built on Jane as her own individual character outside of the romance
