Writing this when I already wrote the reviews for Fearless and Infamous, ensures at least something: I can say with confidence, this is my favourite Sulli, Akara & Banks-book!

This book handles the most difficult part - bringing those three together, despite Akara x Sulli being built up for so long. And while the book doesn't
manage this for everyone, it did manages this for me. I enjoy the dynamic of the Sulli-Akara-Banks-trouple. It makes sense to me that those three are drawn to one another.

Something I also appreciate so very much is that this book and this story truly belongs to Akara, Sulli and Banks. The focus is truly on them.

not the vibe.

Krista & Becca spend so much time trying to conjure up a relationship between Banks and Sulli that it leaves Akara as the most one-note, boring side character.

Going in, I expected for Banks to take the lead since his plot was only added to the story in book 5 of the series, but they forget to add a reason for Akara to like Sulli. I, personally, feel like the whole “Oh, I’ve been flirting with her since she was a TEENAGER” schtick doesn’t work whatsoever; he goes from “just friends” to “I’m in love with Sulli” in like one page. Pace it out at least. It felt rushed, and we all know it’s because them horny WASPy mommies wanted to get to the sex scenes.

Már lassan 20 könyvet elolvastam, ami ebben a világban játszódik, ez mégis magasan veri a többi részt, annyira szörnyű volt.

2.5 ⭐️ Akara and Sulli had a lot of background romantic moments during the first 7 books and when it came to this it felt less romantic and kind of forced in a way. like the story honestly favored Banks and Sulli a lot and made Akara a third wheel for a lot of the romance. I genuinely love all three of them but I wish we got more of Sulli journey separated from the trying to pick between the guys. Also wished for more of Akara and Banks story separate from pining after Sulli but i’m assuming this will come up in the next two books. I don’t like how so many things felt very fetishized in a way. So many lines made me uncomfortable. I feel like the relationship could’ve been written better but there’s still two books to grow it in.
