Does anyone remember reading this book in college and actually liking it? I sure do. The first time I read this book changed my mind about how I had been feeling about the English Curriculum. I can't say that I ever had a favorite English teacher, mite could be I was angsty about reading more broadly, but God I miss them times; I miss the girls, I miss the lunacy, and then had a fill of Robert Frost and Shakespeare... I felt more burned out by those authors, only later on can I appreciate them as well, & just to understand where what-for and why they are so important and how they wholly deserved to be forced on our eyeballs, cause that's what they are, & I understood them from the first time I read "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" and "Uncle Tom's Cabin"; both of these they weren't allowed to read yet, so our English education incorporated plenty of Poe, Edgar Allen, though I don't know why "Premature Burial" is so nascent for a 16 year old... Faulkner, though I don't know why "A Rose For Emily" leaves on a cliff-hanger.

So I prefer not thinking of my bailiwick as homework, yes I like studying and writing blog posts, but it has nothing to do with contributing anything ground-breaking, and I'm not writing a paper, and what the hell for do we need to know MLA Format for? Like oh yeah, there's a new 'feature' on Instagram: all ya hav ta da is cite your work and apply the resources that I put in them... Ha! Ha! Maybe reviewers could start their own businessii & get paid for a change. But that's a bad idea! Supporting Education is a good idea!
