I can appreciate the value from a cultural perspective, but found the book a slog to read.
It was a good book to read with my 10-year-old. It had fun adventure and great topics for conversation.

American Literature at it's finest! I've never actually read this entire novel until now and I'm glad I did. This is a classic tale of adventure, morality, the human conscious, & good ol' fashion rascalism!
