I would have given it higher but the ending seemed a little rushed and I am disappointed I didn't get more information about griff and Brittas life after other then that I love all characters except Mikhail

Wow this book is full of angsty goodness! This book gave me all the feels, I laughed, cried and sighed. Britta and Griff have a hard road to happily ever after but it is so worth the read! I love that this book is all from Griff's point of view which gives the story a different twist. Griff is determined to be a part of Britta and their sons life. He wants to make amends for the past and convince Britta that they can live happily ever after. Britta is a strong single mother who gives Griff a run for his money. This book is angsty but that just makes the end so much sweeter. The angst adds to the story and does not bring it down. If you are looking for a book with depth, romance, humor and redemption then this needs to be your next read for 2018!

5 Stars!

Shayla continues to blow me away with each and every book she writes. She’s an absolute master with words, has a way of turning a bunch of words into an incredible love story and without doubt it’ll swallow you whole, consume you for weeks to come and almost leave you breathless after finishing one of her books, and More Than Need You was no exception. I love a good second chance romance, and this book has everything and more that I love about them.

If you’ve read book 1 in the More Than Words series you’ll have a little more understanding on the history with Griff and Britta. It’s not necessary to read book 1 but for a better view on what’s going on, it’s probably a good idea to start with it.

Griff? I absolutely loved him. Bit of an arrogant asshole at times (I have a thing for his types ;) ) but when you get deeper into the book you will realise why he is the way he is, the reasons behind what he’s done and that all he wants to do now is better himself, his life and the ones he loves and show them that he can be the man that they need him to be.

Britta? She’s a single mother that has been through hell and back in her life and carries a lot of baggage and holds a lot of resentment towards Griff, even though she loves him more than words will ever explains, she struggles to trust him, struggles to trust that’ll be the father that Jamie needs.

Together they are fireworks, the love shared between these two is intense, all consuming, heart breaking, beautiful and overwhelming all in one hit. They had so much to work through and the past continues to test their relationship at every turn, holds them both back from living a happier life together with their child.

Will Britta be able to get over the resentment she holds against Griff and make this work? Will Griff be able to show Britta that he’s a changed man, that he wants nothing more than to build a better life with her and his child?

This book had me in tears. I was an emotional mess. Such a rollercoaster of emotions, passion, heartache and held my attention from page one all the way to the end. Ms. Black broke my heart into a million pieces, just to put all back together piece by piece as I got deeper into the story. Shayla delivers yet another amazing story with twists and turns, a story that’ll pull at your heart strings and have in a messy ball of emotions.

Honestly, the author cannot go wrong. She continues to prove to me that she can write just about anything and it’ll be phenomenal. The emotions, heart and passion that’s poured into each and every of her books is beautiful. I can’t wait to see what she’s got in store for book 3 to this series, but one thing I do know, it’s going to be epic!

   | I am not expecting More Than Need You to be so good. Miss Black is erotica romance writer. Most of her books are hard core erotic. Imagine my surprise she is so talented in contemporary second change romance.

More Than Need You is told from Griff's POV. Just like promised Griff is ruthless closing a deal. And he made no exception in winning Britta's heart. At the end I see the vulnerae side of Griff.
Britta is not OTT dramatic heroine. Her doubt and her reactiob toward Griff is something all of us can relate when given into her situation.

I like how Miss Black does not overload her readers with unneccesary drama. The characters developed nicely.

They deserved each other, they both suck. When you give a big emotional reveal at the very end of the book that’s supposed to make his flaws endearing, you can’t fix an entire books worth of hating him

I absolutely loved Griff and Britta's story. It was a journey back to each other and working through all the pain of years passed. It was sweet to watch Griff embrace his role as a dad. This story was quite the roller coaster to read, full of heartache and anger and sweet moments and love. Griff was cocky and so sure of himself, but he grew so much over this story. Britta was cautious and scared, fighting between her heart and her head. It was such a well written story, and I think I enjoyed this one better than Maxon and Keeley's story! There was definite heat in this story, but the focus was much more of the second chance love story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book, and I just loved it.
