DIOOOS QUE EMBOLEEEE, eterno, se me hizo completa y total y dolorosamente eterno. literalmente acabo de terminarlo así que es en lo que más puedo pensar.
dejando eso momentáneamente de lado, es muy bueno!!!! me gustó muchísimo me pareció súper original lo que hizo anne rice con el mundo al cuál solo te da un vistazo en entrevista con el vampiro. este libro tiene mucho más lore, precisamente por el worldbuilding que contiene y todo lo que quieras, la verdad no me importa. worldbuilding in fantasy books???? please don't i don't care, i don't care it's relevant to the characters and the plot and your mom and whatever i do not care for worldbuilding, and this book has incredibly fucking SLOW TONS AND TONS AND TONS of it. so. many. so many things happen in it.
lo leí en el celular iguaal, en un formato cuestionable, así que volvería a leerlo en papel a ver si es más digerible de esa manera. igual pasan una millonada de cosas, algunas más interesantes que otras. el último cuarto del libro fue un verdadero suplicio para mí, quería que se terminara el asunto nomás. igual anne reina lo dio todo, soy yo el problema lo sé.
al principio es súper filosófico e introspectivo e interesante, y eso no se pierde precisamente, pero adquiere una forma que eventualmente me terminó aburriendo. no es para nada lo que esperaba y se me alargó mucho (fuese necesario para la historia o no se me hizo muy muy muy largo).

This book is just something else. It is by no means perfect, but I loved reading this. There were moments I wanted to DNF it or throw it against a wall. It has questionable topics in it, but beside that I absolutely love Lestat and the world Anne Rice built.
One thing though, the Marius chapters should have been edited down by a lot. That was so much unnecessary info-dumping. Those chapters had interesting ideas, but just dragged out way too long. The last 100-ish pages were so fun though. I need to read book three.

I loved Anne Rice's Vampire books. I now love her new writings - focused on exploration of Christianity.
