I enjoyed it but it was a bit too long for me. I liked that they were normal people and the diary bit was a lovely change up. The pace of the book slowed down for the third quarter of the book but picked up at the end.

I loved it , a main Character with no conflicted emotion, he knows what he wants , he's a gentleman hdjsbduebebhdhe oooh i love him ❤❤

I am still smiling after finishing this story. It is such a sweet story. It is touching and gripped my heart and still has it. It was fun and the banter is intelligent and made me laugh out loud. It is an all around beautiful story that I loved and I did not want to put down. I can't wait to see what else Vi Keeland has in store for us.

Stella and Hudson met when Stella crashed Olivia’s (his sister) wedding. Later on, Stella worked with Hudson and Olivia to make her perfume business strive. Stella has this hobby of reading other people’s diaries, giving Hershey chocolate bars, and she is an absolute golden retriever. Hudson is a single dad with Charlie. Plot twist, Stella read the diary of his ex wife revealing that she had an affair with his best-friend and Charlie may not be Hudson’s daughter. This main couple got cheated on, they are perfect for each other I guess. They are both mature and reasonable, so freaking cute and made me smile a few times. Fuck Stella’s family, her ex cheated with her sister and their parents knew. Assholes.

On the brighter side, the ending is so good. They got engaged, they got a dog. They named it after the brand of the alcohol that made them meet in the first place. The dog’s breed is his birthday wish when he was young.

Idk, suddenly they're so horny and I guess that's what straight adults do

It was good but not great...
Hudson was a sweetheart a gentleman, a real man, and a dilf he is the reason for the .5. Everything he would do for Charlie would make my heart melt. I enjoyed the first half of the book, it was a nice slow burn yet very fast paced. The second half not so much...there much going on, and the plot twist was very predictable. The banter was god tier (mainly Hudson's side). There were way too many minor details and the whole "seventeen months ago" chapters were very confusing (like I'm trying to read not do math). The spicy (2/5) was very much not present.
