I love it when men can admit to wanting a woman without being forceful or inappropriate. I felt safe, to be honest, reading this book and enjoying their blossoming romance. Hudson really set a tone for what a woman should look for in a man. Make a list, and settle for nothing less.
Each book by Vi, she manages to create a new quirky character of a woman, fine tuned with very relatable past trauma and present day insecurities. So, I always feel included.
Great job!

Not really up my alley in term of romance- felt like it was a bit repetitive on why the characters were meant to be together- lots of telling and not enough showing. I felt like I was being hit over the head rather than have that subtle understanding of why the characters are meant to be together.
Unrealistic
I really wanted to like this, but I can't give it more than 2.5 stars. It was so unrealistic and skipped stuff I felt was important to the love in the story. For example we get several paragraphs about legal jargon that does nothing for the story, but we don't get details about their first time together?? Or more involvement between Stella and Charlie. Yeah, so much unnecessary detail all throughout with so muched missed opportunity.

Omg I loved. Hudson really pissed me off at first with how childish he was acting, but he definitely made up for it. Loved their love story.
Absolutely loved this story. My favourite so far. I felt all the feelings in the story. The happy and the sad. I could not put it down.

The writing is good, it's the characters I can't get to like. More specifically, the MMC. That ass It all boiled down to a misunderstanding, but even if she had done it, he was making her pay in her professional capacity for blowing him off (or so he thought) in her personal life. I have problem with that.

made the FMC wait for 2 days in the reception because he thought she had given him a wrong telephone number.

WARNING! Your heart might do back flips while reading this book and put some crazy smile on your lips!
“You know I’m counting all the times you torture me. Eventually I’ll get even.”
“And how will you do that?”
He leaned in and kissed my cheek, then moved his lips to my ear. “With my mouth.”
I blinked a few times, taking in Hudson’s smirk as he walked away.
He spoke over his shoulder. “Hold that thought, Stella. Your whisper is getting almost loud enough that I can hear it.
Oh boy. I’m in trouble.
