Sweep by Cate Tiernan follows Morgan, a smart and reserved high school student who is trying to fit in with her friends. Things take a turn, however, when Cal, a mysterious new student, shows up at school and recruits her and her friends to take part in a few Wicca rituals.

I read this book as a part of a Traveling Book! For more information on what I thought and my experience, click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7clAdvmJmkI

This was a really enjoyable start to the series. I loved that Cal wasn't your typical YA bad boy. I loved that Morgan called Bree on her bullsh*t. I really enjoyed the commentary on religion and maybe moving away from your parents beliefs.

Thought it was good and a very quick read. Can't wait til I start the 2nd book, I think that this series will only get better.

This was a re-read for my October TBT video but life got in the fucking way last week and I got literally nothing productive done. There won’t be a video on this because life is hard and I dropped the ball but just know: I still LOVED this. Will definitely carry on and re-read more of the series over the next few months.

This would be a great YA reluctant reader series. Short but not dumbed down. Seems to be well researched in terms of Wicca. Probably won't read the others unless I can find them at a library near me.

I read this when I was in eighth or ninth grade. I read the first few books of the series and really enjoyed them but then I felt like I was betraying my religion by enjoying it. So I’m re-reading those books and maybe continuing the series. Theyre not great but they’re kind of entertaining.
