The first Superhero comic that I’ve ever read, and while it’s certainly dated, I still enjoyed it very much. Kooky with some sometimes strange dialogue, but compelling nonetheless. I completely understood who everyone was and what their powers were (which was certainly an achievement considering the sheer volume of characters), and I was never confused by the multi layered storyline. I’m instantly a fan of Doctor Doom now. What an interesting villain who has a tremendous hunger for power. The scene where The Beyonder studies him and learns his motivations was by far my favorite part of the story. Cool stuff.

This should have been so much more. It came down to action figures smashing each other repeatedly and paper-thin motivations for most of the ensemble cast. Interesting for those who want to read about major events in comics history, but not actually good writing nor spectacular art.

Well... This sure seemed like a kid playing with his collection of action figures. It was actually created to do just that, so no surprise, all your favorite characters bashing it out, but some pretty bland writing, with repeating concepts, incomplete ends and plain stale ideas (Zsaji's love triangle...). If you like the Marvel Universe you might just enjoy it, just don't go here first if you're a newbie to comics.

Woof, I hope the new one's better.
