I love the magic in this! And I love the dynamic of the Saigas family so much. So glad I read The Dragon's Promise before starting this bcs I have such an attachment to Elang!
I love the (kind of) slow burn between Tru and Elang and even more so when we eventually find out that he fell First and Hard.

So far my favourite book in this lovely 'verse.

Really liked the premise and atmosphere of the book, the mmc felt kinda bland tho and I was not a fan of the plot twist with him 🥲 enjoyed the book just can’t get behind him tho
