I enjoyed reading the story of Alice with unique twists. Some items were crude and difficult, when you're used to a childhood classic. Overall I enjoyed this book. It kept me engaged and eager to find out what will happen next and trying to keep that connection from the Alice story I grew up knowing and love.

I like the premise and I liked the characters. But everyone is just kind of defeated without any pageantry. The walrus, the rabbit, the jabberwocky. They’re all built up as these horrible people and how they’re dangerous but nothing comes of it.
