A twisted Wonderland indeed! As a child I loved Alice in Wonderland (no matter the version) and this adaptation took me on a journey like no other. For those who loved the Tim Burton version and wish for a darker version in the real world this is the book for you. I will say there are some triggering moments/mentions in the book so be careful! The author, Christina Henry, did n absolutely brilliant job keeping my attention! I read this in one sitting as it was difficult for me to put down!

I really enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to starting #2 of the series! As a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland, I enjoyed this twist with the characters and plot. It is quite dark but isn’t too brutal in my opinion which made it okay to read.

It was really dark and disturbing. In fact I don’t think I will ever forget some of the things that happened it was pretty awful. However I loved Alice and Hatcher and I really enjoyed following them.

I don’t usually like fantasy books but the twisted tale aspect of thus intrigued me - I wasn’t disappointed.
I really enjoyed it and it’s definitely a page turner.
