Bree Tanner, a self-described "vampire nerd" first introduced in Eclipse, lives in terror in a coven of newborn vampires. She is a member of Victoria's vampire army, and as that army closes in on Bella Swan and the Cullens, she finds her first friend and discovers a truth about daylight. Out of all the characters to give a spin-off novella, Bree Tanner wasn’t one I wanted or expected. Not as horrible as it could have been, but not as good as it could have been either. Overall, a forgettable short novella set during the events of Eclipse.

This is my favorite book of the series so far (only reading the first 3 and not yet Breaking Dawn). The storytelling was much better than when it was from Bella's perspective, then again Bella is just a boring character.

Well..the idea was nice but it fell down on its ass, making the book hard to read (no chapters?!?) and I thought that this book was about the Cullen family (even just a little bit) but no. Just in the end and then the book was already read. Sad stuff.

Felt a little long for what it was. I think it could have made a better short story than novella.
