What an interesting idea, 8 short light stories written around the theme of April Fools' Day.
My favorite stories were S.E. Babin's Fool Me Once, about mean high school pranks turned upside down in later years, with a HEA love story, and Suzie Jay's Tom Foolery, about an office romance mixed with a cruel prank that turns out all wrong for the prankster, all right for everyone else.
There are a couple other stories that involve a work environment, and one that includes a Volkswagen assembled in a living room. A few of the stories were a bit weak, writing wise, but overall, a light, entertaining read and nice introduction to these writers.

A great collection of eight chick lit short stories all around the theme of April Fools Day. Each story was written by a different author, so had it's own voice. I couldn't choose a favourite, I liked each of them for their uniqueness. I expected that each story would have a romance and a happy ending, and wasn't disappointed. It was fun to see which pranks were played, might have a few new ideas now for next April 1.
As an added bonus, there was a character in one of the stories whose name started with X, so this book came in handy for one of the reading challenges I was doing in the NBRC group on Goodreads.

Cute stories & a very quick read. I'm not usually a fan of short stories but this one is worth reading & checking out the different authors.
Two of the stories in this collection were amazing, and I would give them five stars. The others were average, with only one story that I did not care for at all. Just the two amazing stories make the whole book worth the time to read, though.
P.S. the two amazing stories were Who Does He Think He's Fooling and Fooled Around and Fell In Love.
