“Watch how we work, Izzy. You see us together here, holding this. It’s me making you feel everything, protecting you from the other side of destruction, and you holding my life in your hands. Me and you. We work.”

This was my favorite in the series. Not sure what I am suppose to do now that I’ve read all of shains books. Luckily march is also here for book 3 in her new series!
Literally all the way through the end these two stayed bickering and I literally loved it. One small scene of pure fluff after the kidnapping but otherwise these two had me cackling non stop. Loved it

My first Shain Rose book. Definitely not my last.
Wish I had the self control to have read this series-not-series in order to get the other brothers stories first, but it’s a comment, not complaint.

Complete chaos- and I was here for it.

Izzy and Cade are forces of nature, and when they get together it’s as the title states- chaos. The two of them might be volatile together but truly it’s in the best way. Cade becomes absolutely feral over her and I was squealing during some of the scenes towards the end where he claims she owns his soul. Just so good. Izzy struggles with addiction, has been sober for nine years but during that time has basically suppressed her feelings in fear that it could tip her over the edge. She isn’t able to hide them away with Cade though, he makes her feel everything.
I did get annoyed that the conflict at the end is the “I’m leaving for your own good” trope. That always makes me mad but it obviously worked out in the end and thankfully it wasn’t dragged out.
Also- the steam in this book… is melt your kindle hot.
