Sweet story! It has the usual Charity Parkerson flair and I loved the cameo by Zander!
I often say that the test of a good author is how well done their novellas are. This little story was absolutely charming and I felt the connection of the characters from the beginning. This is a new-to-me author but I will definitely be grabbing more of their books.
While this dynamic is not new I do enjoy the fantasy of it. This would have been better if they had some other obstacle rather than the “I know what you need and act with out consulting you” trope.
I liked this. Simple and sweet, and less instalove than I was expecting with something this length.
I had so many questions. Where does Ivan's boss work, that Ivan has an office across the street from the bar. If Winter doesn't have to work, what will he do with his day? I didn't get any feel for Winter's dreams.
