I don’t really know what to think about this one…
First I just can’t deal with the fact that Sadie’s mom is Italian and Sadie has such a stereotypical mind about Europe…
Then there is the question of the miscommunication through the entire book. Seriously, she just had to pick up the phone and ask him what was going on 😩
I didn’t really get how the falling in love actually happened… just “we have a lot in common so I love you” story… not incredible
The book is fast paced, easy to read, it’s not the best story from Ali but it’s not terrible ☺️
I liked the first novella a lot more than this one
Overall I give it 3⭐️

MAYBE 2.25 stars. Maybe.

It’s incredibly sad that the tone and characterization of this novella was so similar to Under One Roof, that I would’ve easily believed it was the same story, save for some details that were decidedly worse the second time around. And the “plot” if you could call it that, revolving around a one-night-stand in which one of them thinks they assaulted the other.

I mean, really????? Ali Hazelwood, I’m beginning to lose the faith. Maybe it’s just a novella thing. Maybe that’s why I don’t usually read novellas. In any case, the miscommunication trope in Stuck with You was inherently annoying and sufficiently stupid. Plus, the chemistry between the FMC and MMC left much to be desired, despite the steamy scenes. They were just kinda… off?

I read it in a couple hours, nonetheless. It wasn’t like I hated it with a burning passion, but I’m just kinda indifferent about it, I guess. Oh well.

This was cute. I wish it was longer.

It was cute, but I feel like it was almost the same story as the other novella.

Talk about a meet cute — this one has two! Sadie and Eric had such great chemistry, and I loved their initial date-that-wouldn’t-end. Although the whole “enemies” aspect felt too far-fetched for me, the ending was cute and satisfying, so I’ll forgive it in favor of the adorableness of this trilogy. Fantastic!

An easy to digest novella. Nice twist of the misunderstanding-trope. Rival-corporate romance.
