This book is so inspiring for everyone! So many different experiences of feminism that meant I learnt a lot but also learnt that there are no rules for being a “feminist”! Amazing!
Moderate: Sexism, Sexual assault, Transphobia

Incredible!!!!!! Every one has to read this, so easy to read and will be a bible for me.
Pleasantly surprised by this book. My biggest concern with an anthology is that the quality, style and interest of each individuals' content can vary. My next biggest concern is that something entitled FEMINISTS DON'T WEAR PINK might be a disposable read with empty encouragements of YAY, GIRL POWER!
Luckily, this avoided both of these concerns. Everyone did a great job and wrote about feminism in a way that was unique and personal to them. Topics were covered from everyday sexism, period poverty, sexual violence, female genital mutilation, gender identity, sexuality, intersectionality as well as the word itself discussed by actresses, activists, writers, professors and everyday heroes.
To me, feminism is about inclusion. It is about tackling areas of life that try to exclude others - whether that is men being excluding from mental health discussions, women excluded from making laws about their bodies, non-binaries being excluded from every conversation about gender as well as POC, disabled, queer, working-class and the disenfranchised being excluded from talks of feminism itself.
Some of the best this book has to offer are Keira Knightley, Olivia Perez, Alicia Garza, Grace Campbell and Amika George (the 19 who has recently made a huge step to ending period poverty in England and Wales).
Have a read and feel inspired! Scarlett Curtis did a great job curating these talented voices.

Such an important read. It’s more geared towards women but everyone can get something from this. Not often have I felt empowered by a book but this was amazing. There is truly something for everyone all kinds of celebrity have their own section and there’s essays, stories, poetry etc. Every person can get something from this would recommend to anyone.

A fantastic collection of ‘essays’ from a diverse range of women about the F-word (Feminism) and what it means to them. From motherhood, periods and period poverty, FGM survivors, women born without a womb, women who were assigned male at birth, women of various ethnicities and class backgrounds, women who have disabilities, and women who define themselves as much more than just one thing. I highly recommend.
