I saw the ad for the movies and wanted to make sure I listened to the book first. The forward by Stephen King was very eye opening but also gave you the most of the emotional damage that happens in part 3 , ie the start of the book. the quote at the end is beautiful. the story is sad but still beautiful as is life itself. I always wonder how King gets all these ideas and he gave a small insight with this story.

What to wrote to my friend about the book.
* It's beautiful and sad . And I hope the movie has all the love and heart the book did. The forward by King on how he got the idea for this story is amazing. I cried a bit but not balled. The fact you start at the end which even the ad so you is heavy but by the time your at the end it it kind of balances itself out . That being said if they keep to the book as is - the stuff happing in the first act is kind of fortune teller that you hope never to see happen*
