wanted to reread it because the movie is coming out. it's weird I have no real recollection of this story other than it was told backwards. still, really well written and I'm looking forward to the movie

The earth their minds have conceived.”

I decided to read this short story after randomly seeing the movie The Life of Chuck. Crazy that an entire movie could be crafted from a 60-page short story and still be a pretty faithful adaptation (excluding Mike Flanagan’s infamous monologues of course)
