The story of Mrs. Charles Woolsey and her children as they survive the war between the Union and the Confederate - the Civil War. Each daughter called into action in her own way to help the Union while their brother fights and their father gave his life.

Another great story - the end of this trilogy!!

I liked this book, I liked the way it was written in 3 different POV's of Georgy, Jemma and Anne-May. I felt that I was able to really get to know each and understand why they did the things that they did.

My biggest complaint; the book is just too long. This story could have been shortened by about 200 pages and still felt complete.

Many thanks to Netgalley and Ballentine Books for this advanced readers copy. This book is due to release in March 2021.

Martha Hall Kelly's books never let me down, and the third and final book in the Lilac Girl Series is no different! Loved this as much as the first two. It's bittersweet to see the series come to an end, but I'm excited to see what Kelly will be up to next!

Chapters told from four POVs, audiobook has a narrator for each. Each narrator does a phenomenal job bringing life to each character. I loved this conclusion to Kelley’s phenomenal trio of historical fiction books, with a story told in Civil War America. Great job binging light to these amazing women’s stories and tales of true heroism.
