I went into this book with an open mind. I've read 2 previous works from Ali Hazelwood one I really enjoyed and the other I didn't.
I actually really enjoyed this book. I liked the aspect of diving - I've never read a book with that before. As always we have a woman in STEM which I love. There is a cameo from The Love Hypothesis and honestly made me so happy.
This book had my emotions all over the place. I was sad then giddy and before I knew it I'd be laughing. This book has a heavy focus on Dom/Sub play and how control and trust factor into this. I personally think this was done well.
There's also some portrail of PTSD in the book. Scarlett faces not just the physical aspect of blockage but the mental fight when triggered. I'm happy that she was in therapy and we as the reader get to see into some sessions.
The audio narrators were great and I'm so glad we had two! They helped bring the emotions alive.

FMC had literally dozens of Os. She should be studied by scientists, truly.
