I freaking LOVED this book. One finally overtook The Love Hypothesis for me, but it's still one of my top faves. A nice surprise was Olive and Adam from TLH made appearances throughout which made me love this story even more. When I was finally able to just sit down and read this I could not put it down. I have nothing negative to comment on, from start to finish I was sucked into the story of Scarlett and Lukas. The chemistry between them was off the charts and I had a fun time with the different emotions this book made me feel.

The spice is hands down the best Ali's written. Forget the previous ones, this is top tier with beautiful kink. There is plenty of it but it does not take away from the plot. I was super interested in the swimming and diving aspect instead of it being focused on a STEM one. There is still STEM mentioned and has a focus in the book but it's not the main setting. Following Scarlett through her journey of truly discovering herself and what she wants and learning about Lukas, Sweden, and everything in-between was enchanting. I also really liked how we got a small look into the other characters lives and the whole focus wasn't just on the main characters. The side characters where what helped make this so good and were important factors in Scarlett's and Lukas's stories.

I just cannot rave enough about this book. It checks all my boxes and then some. Highly recommend reading. If movies are ever made from Ali's books, this would be one I'd love to see.

It’s not something I’ll ever take for granted, the ability to say no.
