Such a cute story! I listened to it as an audiobook and I highly recommend; the voice actors did a phenomenal job (Bonus: Lukas' voice is very attractive, both in and outside the spicy scenes). I love Scarlette's development throughout the book,

though she did piss me off a bit near the end when she was avoiding Lukas for Penelope's sake and when she couldn't bring herself to say out-loud how she felt about him. but by the end she was back in my good graces,

a flawed and loveable character!

This was my first intro to a Kink style book. It was not bad, I think at first I was like HUH, I did go in blind. I think overall the storyline made sense. I am
Glad I kept going. I like the characters. I think this was realistic especially pens behavior. Overall I did appreciate the ending of the story.

Will I be reading kink style books, I think just not for me going forward but if you like that style. This is I think a good intro to what can grow in older more experienced characters.

i had higher hopes this book. i actually thought it was ass. okay it was not that bad but still i felt kind of uncomfortable when they were having sexy time because it was just a little bit weird. she was like ah yeah please hurt me i like that and that freaked me out a little bit. and i thought lukas was a bitch. but overal it was kind okay and just a normal romance book. also i hated penelope i knew from the beginning she would also be a bitch.
