Thoughts: Great read.

The first book just oozed in mystery whereas this one was kinda predictable. Just Loved the character development of Saige and Sylas!! Wanted more of Lo and Cash. Fun, sweet and a one stop read. 3 stars.

I don’t even know what to say.
I mean, this book wasn’t really bad, but it definitely wasn’t the right conclusion to the story!

At the end of the first one we’re left with a revelation that I expected would have changed the relationship between Sylas and Saige or that at least would have created a big loss of trust between them. This doesn’t happen.
They repeat thousands times that they don’t trust each other but they still live together and say “i love you” to each other every second.

Also I didn’t like the change of point of view. I love when there’s a male character who narrates the story and I think that Behind Your Back was very good also for this. In this one we follow Saige’s thoughts and actions but there are too many questions left about Sylas. We literally see him broken in this book but we don’t really get how he fixes himself because we’re too busy reading about how much Saige has to study for her exams.

I decided to give this book three stars because overall it was nice to read and not completely bad. The only big flaw was the quickness the author used to write it. We’re left woth too many questions and we don’t really follow the growth of the characters and of their relationship after the events at the end of the first book.
