This book absolutely blew me away. I did not see the plot twist coming at all. I thought Theo was just genuinely invested in helping Alicia, that maybe he wanted to be her savior or, at the very least, was drawn to her because of her infamous crime. But that’s not the case. When the truth came out, I was left reeling. I even considered the possibility that Theo was just suffering from his own mental issues, maybe pushing his mind to forget the events, which is why he couldn't remember what happened. But nope. I was wrong again.
The twists were so well done that it felt like I was on a rollercoaster, constantly second-guessing myself. At one point, I even thought it could’ve been Christian, Max, or even Yuri (because of the drugs, lol). But the reality hit hard, and everything came together in such a shocking way. This was one of those books that makes you question every character's motive. It’s a brilliant psychological thriller that keeps you guessing until the very last page.
Definitely a must-read for fans of suspense and unexpected twists!

A captivating read, I didn’t want to put the book down once I started, but I did guess the twist early on so it wasn’t a complete shock to me.
Given that it was his first novel, it was still a very compelling read. I enjoyed his writing style thoroughly and am intrigued to try some of his other works but there were some parts of this story that I wish were explored more.
The plot twist ending did come as a shock to me but the other presented parts to the build up were neglected and there are many questions left to still be answered.
Overall I enjoyed the silent patient but like I stated, there were parts that left me unsatisfied.
