The twist was something I didn’t expect. I truly was a loss for words! It all clicked in my head and was wondering how I didn’t realize! I will say the first part of the story is a slow beginning, but once you are past that, it begins to increase in pace and interest! It was a really good read!

This is the perfect book to explain how I enjoy reading - the plot was probably predictable to a lot of readers, but not me. I love just going along for the ride as long as the tension is there in the writing. When we got the reveal I got a little shock from that, I’ll admit it. I did think early on “this guy is such an arrogant POS, he seems like a sociopath” so I’m glad I was proven correct about that.
It’s always interesting to me when you have a narrator telling the truth who no one believes. She’s not exactly unreliable because she was always telling us the truth, but unreliable to those around her. Tragic and endlessly interesting as material.
