I didn’t like this writing at all. The dialogue was just terrible and the way it’s written makes it hard to connect with any of the characters. Just bad
This book has much more than one novel's allotment of unspeakable evil. The protagonist/amateur detective is already a murderer before this story begins. When she figures out that someone is guilty, she hacks him to pieces. There's also the situation with the people in the cages...
One thing this book has going for it is good pacing. Also, the lead makes mistakes so it gets scary at times.
Any reader would know almost from the start which character will turn out to be the final bad guy.

Die Serie von Blum ist eine der besten Krimiserien, die ich je gelesen habe, ich hab in 3 Tagen alle 3 Bücher gelesen.
Die Geschichte ist an sich sehr spannend, auch wenn es einige vorhersehbare Stellen gibt. Aber das ergibt sich auch daraus, dass man mit der Hauptfigur so mitleben kann, dass gewisse Geschehnisse einfach logisch sind.
Auch wenn der Schreibstil am Anfang ungewohnt ist, fesselt er ungemein.

The writing style leaves something to be desired. I could not get into the book because the endless clipped sentences got too annoying.
Interesting book. It’s layout isn’t one I’ve seen before and I’m not sure if that is because it’s a translation or is unique to the author. I liked the layout anyway.
The story was ok I liked the elements of revenge but found the over all round up of the story predictable and it could have gone into more detail of how she found everyone and basically just fleshed the book out more.

Das Buch macht überhaupt keinen Sinn. Das erste Kapitel ist ausgezeichnet aber dann verpasst der Autor die Möglichkeit, eine logische und spannende Geschichte zu erzählen. Was mich wirklich genervt hat ist, dass die Geschichte ganz flach ist. Die Eltern waren schlecht zu ihr, also sie müssen sterben :( Es gab keine Koherenz. Der beste Freund seines Mannes, Massimo, hatte keinen Grund Mark zu töten. Viel Spaß!
