REVIEW
I loved this book! I can’t really explain to you why I loved it so much, what made it a 5-star read for me, but I guess like in most 5-star reads, it’s something that comes from your heart more than it does from your brain. Trying to put some thoughts into words, I thought this book was so interesting and peculiar. It’s one of those books where the title tells you the end of the book (in this case, where it pretty much tells you most of the plot), and yet you’re still super invested in it. The characterization of the Columbian little town felt so real in a way I could almost see this happening in my little Portuguese town. It was almost funny, it was witty, it was so good! A perfect short read!

'kay, me voy
Bye

I was happy to finally read something by Márquez. Not my favorite genre or topic, but his mastery of Spanish is simply *chef's kiss*. It was a pleasure to read, although I feel like I will probably prefer his longer works.
