I’ve been a fan of this author for a long time, and I have enjoyed every one of the books I’ve read. This one is a series-ender, and I’ll miss Mari. She’s been my favorite character so far (I say so far because it keeps changing!), but I feel she softened a little towards the end. Not a bad thing, but I miss her more kick-butt attitude. However, this was a great book with the author’s signature non-stop action, fun adventure, great writing, and interesting characters. I’m anxious to see what’s up next for everyone. Highly recommend! I was provided a copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
Beautiful conclusion
I love the Magic's Bend crew. The protagonist always seems to doubt and not get a profound and simple message until needed but it fits easily into the story. The characters become real to readers, with fears, desires, etc. I can't wait to see what Linsey Hall writes next.

Loved how this story came to a conclusion. Mari and Tarron prove their strength with a whirlwind of an ending. Such an amazing wrap-up to the series.

Amazing series
I have loved all of Linsey Hall’s books since I first discovered the Dragon’s Gift series. I love the storylines, the amazing badass characters, and their relationships. This book is just as phenomenal as the rest. Can’t wait for more books about the friends from Magic’s Bend!

I always find Linsey Hall's books to be intriguing and enjoyable. Every now and then, one is particularly good, but I always know I'm going to enjoy the book. Some stand out more than others, but in general, they are fun quick reads.
