I adored this second chance romance from S.E. Harmon and devoured it in one sitting! I loved that Journey and Cameron remained friends after their break-up years ago, and I loved the slow burn push/pull between them in the present day. This was quite funny and I found myself LOLing in several places. Just all around loved it.

I absolutely adored this book. It’s got everything you could possibly want in an MM contemporary romance. The writing is crisp and clever. The story sucks you in and takes hold of you. The MCs are both endearing and the secondary characters contribute importantly to the storyline. The story arc is well paced and the use of a couple gimmicks are fun and make things seem familiar. Best of all, it hits all the emotional buttons. I literally laughed out loud so many times. I was also brought to tears. I was cranky, exasperated and wanted to throat punch someone. My heart ached for each MC at different points. I can’t think of anything this author could have done to make this book any better.

Journey and Cam are the best example of the second chance romance trope I’ve read in quite a while. I read the book in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down. I was too invested and too impatient to see what would have me laughing next. Plus, cute animals! Come on! If you are looking for a light, low angst, entertaining read do not hesitate to pick this book up. You will not be disappointed.

**I voluntarily read an arc and this is my unbiased opinion.**
