It was a little too slow for me. The book definitely got better towards the end, but it was still difficult to finish.

I REALLY wanted to like this book! The cover is beautiful, the description in the inside cover sounded amazing, the reviews were raving, but I found Tom dull & boring & the other characters not any more exciting. I kept thinking the next chapter will be better, it’ll have me hooked and I get to the next chapter and I would think the same for the next chapter. I honestly think my favorite chapter was the end of the last chapter-when it was over.
